Our team is an all-grade team from Dimond High School. Here are a few of our team members!
Nate
Our captain is Nate. He is responsible for the design and build of the robot. He also makes executive decisions for the team. Nate is in his 4th year of robotics and is a senior. He first started the team three years ago and has been able to see its growth from rookie team to State Champions.
Jehovan
This is Jehovan’s third year in robotics and he’s excited to continue working with the team. He’s looking forward to seeing how our robot works despite limitations with Covid-19. This competition will be different but it will be exciting! Jehovan works with Nate to design and build the robot.
Ardian
Ardian has been on the team for three years. He says robotics has always been fun, and he has definitely learned a lot with regards to programming, design, teamwork, and the engineering process. As one of the programmers in the team, he works to code the robot. Ardian is our outreach manager and is currently mentoring the Dimond Lynx Battalions B0TS FTC robotics team. He’s very proud to introduce a new one-of-a-kind JROTC FTC team, despite the limitations of the pandemic.
Aron
This is Aron’s 3rd year in robotics and being a member of the Nova Lynx. He is one of two programmers. Aron says he is glad to be able to help this brilliant team. He works with Ardian on the autonomous part of the game, while also programming the TeleOp functions of our robot. He says this season will be fun!
Alec
This is Alec’s second year in robotics. Alec writes the engineering notebook and manages the team’s social media, such as our Instagram and our website. He is also involved with making the branding of the team. Alec enjoys being a part of FIRST and is excited to continue working with his team members throughout the season!
